Gold Mini

This little honey, owned by José M. Oliver, not only is the invention that saved the British Car Industry in the Fifties, but also the model that won four Monte-Carlo rallies. The 4-cylinder 850 ccm-engine of Morris Minor was rotated by 90 dgrs. and the wheels were placed at the outermost corners: A revolution at the time.

There it was, the ideal family car for the Fifties and long after. This model, “Knightsbrigde”, was the last one to be built in 2000 - somewhat a celebration with its soft leather interior, walnut trim, electric sliding roof and gold finish.
